New Initiative: Angels Pay It Forward

(I am super excited to offer this) I have set up an Angels Pay It Forward page so as to collectively give us the opportunity to support each other.

I want to support the work of deep healing.

I believe that our willingness and humble gesture to expand beyond our 'known' and 'comfortable' spaces (as an internal sense) is deep healing work and reverberates an energy out into the collective field. It is a gesture that moves us closer towards a more beautiful world our hearts know is possible*.

This inner work is no small investment in one's Self-hood, yet the investment is beyond quantifiable in terms of generational healing, stepping out of victim consciousness, collective empowerment and re-writing our Story of Who We Are and Why We Are Here.

From where I sit, it is essential work if we want to turn this existential-crisis-ship around.

Yet it costs personal dollars and these dollars are getting s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d in every direction.

The work of deep healing needs more support!

In my own small and humble offering, I want to support my fellow humans who are trying to live life with a heart-centeredness. These are the beings who, without knowing it, have a much needed gift for the world, and we need them. We need YOU.

I want to somehow enable therapeutic support to be more accessible!

So I've come up with a Pay It Forward offering...

It's called Angels Pay It Forward and it collectively gives us the opportunity to support each other in receiving the therapeutic support we may need, regardless of our financial situation.

How This Works

Rather than a 'user-pays' model, this initiative fosters gifting, or Paying It Forward as a way to collectively support each other.

The Gifting Economy Model that I am using has 3 pillars;

  • Gift / Donation from an angel (that could be you)

  • Client pays what they can afford (that could also be you, at another time)

  • Subsidised Hakomi session (that's me)

These 3 pillars create a sustainable offering that supports those in need who can't afford to pay 100% - we all win :-)

Where this emerged from - The path of Grace

I remember back in 2011, life dealt me a spread of cards that saw me bottom out into despair, depression, grief, anger, rage and jealousy. It was a year of great pain that I had to learn to navigate and find my own way through.

I invested everything I had into my wellbeing that year. There were peaks of suffering where I went to therapy 3 times a week. I committed to activities that lit me up, in small and big ways, and I learnt to stay steady in the dark dank energy of my bodymind, waiting, just waiting for that energy to lift. Making peace with my lot.

My finances bottomed out that year and I had to be resourceful to be able to pay for the support I needed. I don't know how it happened, but every time I needed to reach out, the funds were there. Life wanted to support my growth and the net of Life arrived with each leap I made.

Along the path, plain-clothed angels appeared, and through their grace, I had support within arms reach. I learnt to reach out, and I learnt to receive what was given, the good, the bad, the pleasant and the uncomfortable.

I suspect this experience isn't foreign. If we desire to grow and evolve, Life will support us; it is the nature of Life. To be clear, I'm not saying that a simple wish to heal qualifies a peachy life in return. But that true desire will sift out the ingredients of our life that are no longer serving us and put them on the table, so to speak, for us to find our way to let go of it, or loosen its grip on our life-story. If we desire THAT, Life will support us. Life will send us angels.

We all have angels in our life. If that doesn't ring true for you, try putting angel lenses on, and see out your eyes with the expectation that an angel has touched you already. Don't limit your self reflection ... s/he may have shown up as fierce or gentle, grace-filled or screaming. Hindsight is an amazing lens. Life gives you what you need, not what you want.

And we, the plain-clothed angels, are an essential part of Life's emanations towards growth and healing. She moves through us, calling and drawing us to her fullest expressions. As we learn to trust those impulses that are outside of our 'usual' box, we too get to wear our angel wings, and pay forward the grace of connection or welcome or support or wealth... whatever it is that is in our agency to provide.

If you feel called or moved to offer financial assistance for the people in need of therapeutic support but can't afford it, please get in touch.

I have set up an Angels Pay It Forward donation page, so that collectively we can offer the much needed support for what is fundamentally our collective deep healing and growth.

Deep blessings for our journey together.
